Some of those that I was a little iffy about - as in, did I see that one or not - I left off the list. If it’s been on Sci-Fi or in the Sci-Fi section of the video store, then I’ve probably seen it, though.
I haven’t seen theme all, but I have seen a good deal. Right now, I’m watching Blood and Chocolate (2006). (I’ve also seen most werewolf, witch/witchcraft, werewolf, ghosts, the paranormal, anything to do with psychics, gothic movies and television series that you can see. This includes children’s movies like Hocus Pocus and animated movies like, oh, anything done by Tim Burton.) I have no idea what this says about me or about my tastes except that I like to think that there is something beyond the ordinary right around the corner, and though it may be awful or simply unusual, I am interested in knowing, not experiencing, but knowing. As in the way of the Talamanca of Anne Rice’s novels. Oh, yes. I read books on these subjects as well and have since I was a child in elementary school, the fanciful and the scholarly. I have a cousin who is quite into goth right now. Has been for years. I think we might find that we had a lot in common. Maybe that’s my next manuscript, an ode to the other side of normal.
